Light or Dark Kitchens

Choosing between a light or dark kitchen is one of the biggest decisions in a home redesign. Both options have their perks and their challenges – from creating a bright, spacious feel to making a bold, luxurious statement. In this guide we explore the pros and cons of each and share tips on how to make the right choice for your space.

White is Alright

A bright and modern kitchen transformation using Gloss White J Pull doors and 28mm worktops. Designed to flow from the clients previously completed bathroom, this kitchen is now a clean, practical and stylish space.

Kitchen Transformation Summerpark

A modern kitchen transformation at Summerpark where clever design, our Mala range in two colours and brass detailing came together to maximise the space and create a stunning finished look.

Can we please have more worktop space?

A complete re design using our CAD system allowed us to transform this kitchen with more worktop space, smarter storage and a layout that finally works for the way our client lives. Designed and installed by C&C Joinery.

A Bathroom Transformation Focused on One Simple Wish

A customer came to us with a single request. She simply wanted a proper shower. By redesigning the space, removing the existing bath and installing a spacious walk in shower, we created a bathroom that now feels both practical and relaxing. Full wall panelling, fitted units and Camaro LVT flooring completed a modern and welcoming finish.

Sapore Mercury Handleless Kitchen with Silestone Tops

A compact kitchen with limited seating and very little storage was redesigned using a Sapore Mercury handleless layout, new Silestone tops, a space tower and a peninsula. The space is now far more practical and welcoming.

Kitchen Renovation in Calside, Dumfries

A dark and enclosed kitchen in Calside has been transformed by removing a non structural wall and installing Grey Grained Shaker cabinetry with Miami White Silestone worktops. The result is a bright, spacious and stylish room that meets the clients needs perfectly.
