The Problem
Our client was finding that the kitchen was becoming the catch all space for everything. The washing machine noise, cleaning products, laundry baskets and general household clutter were all competing with what should have been a calm and enjoyable kitchen environment. They wanted a dedicated area that would take the pressure off the kitchen while still looking stylish and in keeping with the rest of the home.

The Solution
C&C Joinery designed and installed a fully functional utility room using our ever popular Opaco units in the on trend reed green colour. The layout focused on practicality first, ensuring space for the washing machine while also building in generous storage for everyday essentials. By carefully planning the cabinetry and worktop space, the room delivers both durability and visual appeal. The design ties in beautifully with the rest of the property while clearly serving its own purpose.

The Outcome
The finished utility room has completely transformed the way the household operates. The noisy appliances are now tucked away, cleaning items are neatly stored and the kitchen has been returned to a calm and welcoming space. The reed green Opaco units bring warmth and character, proving that practical rooms can still be visually impressive. The client now enjoys a more organised home with a clear separation between busy chores and relaxed living areas, a result that reflects the design approach seen across projects.
