Problem
Our clients in Calside were struggling with a kitchen that felt dark and cramped. The main cause was a non structural internal wall that blocked natural light and prevented the space from flowing the way they wanted. They hoped for a brighter and more open layout that would better suit daily life.
Solution
After several design conversations and a full review of the space, we identified that removing the non structural wall would completely transform the room. Once the wall was taken out, we redesigned the layout to make the most of the new open plan feel.
To finish the look, we installed our Grey Grained Shaker cabinetry paired with Miami White Silestone worktops. This combination delivered a timeless style with a clean and refined feel that lifted the entire space.
Outcome
The change has been remarkable. The kitchen is now bright, spacious and far more functional, creating an inviting area for both cooking and socialising. The open layout has improved the way the clients use their home every day.
