Garden Pod Transformation

A clever little update with a big impact. We recently revisited a returning customer to improve the layout of their rental garden pod, adding more worktop space and a practical pull out dining table to make the space even more guest friendly.

The Problem

We recently revisited a returning customer to make some improvements to the garden pod located within their grounds, which is available to rent out to guests.

The existing layout worked well, but the kitchen area needed to be more practical for short stays and self catering use. The main issue was the lack of food preparation space, which can make even simple cooking feel a little cramped. There was also an opportunity to create a more versatile dining area without taking up too much valuable room.

The Solution

To improve the overall functionality of the pod, we altered the kitchen layout by extending the worktop to create a much more usable food prep area. This instantly made the space feel more practical and guest friendly.

We also added a pull out table, which is a brilliant space saving feature. Not only does it provide a handy dining area for guests, but it can also be tucked away neatly when not in use, helping the pod maintain its open and uncluttered feel.

The Outcome

The finished result has made a huge difference to how the garden pod can be used. The extended worktop provides a far more comfortable area for preparing meals, while the pull out table adds both convenience and flexibility.

This clever update has helped maximise the available space and created a much more functional, enjoyable environment for guests staying in the pod. A small alteration, but one that has made a big impact.
