The Problem

Our clients were looking to modernise their kitchen without carrying out a full replacement. They were happy with their existing kitchen cupboards, so the goal was to refresh the overall look of the room while keeping the original cabinetry in place.

They also wanted to create a bit of contrast in the design, particularly by having a different splashback finish from the rest of the wall areas.

The Solution

To achieve this, we installed FIBO wall boarding to the walls away from the main worktop areas, helping to create a clean, fresh and modern backdrop throughout the room.

Around the sink and cooker area, we used the customer’s own chosen worktops and kitchen splashback, which gave the kitchen a lovely contrasting feature and added more personality to the space.

To complete the transformation, we also fitted a new PVC plastic ceiling and our Camaro Rigid click flooring, both of which helped tie the whole room together beautifully.

The Outcome

This kitchen modernisation has made a huge difference to the overall appearance and feel of the room. By keeping the existing cupboards and updating the surrounding finishes, we were able to give the space a fresh new look without the need for a full kitchen replacement.

The combination of practical wall finishes, contrasting textures and updated flooring has created a kitchen that feels brighter, cleaner and much more up to date.
